Our Community Pantry is a food-rescue service that diverts safe and edible food, household items, fruit, vegetables and bakery items heading to landfill; and makes it affordable and available to its members.
The organisation’s mission is to improve quality of life in its community by reducing hunger and financial hardship through a socially inclusive environment, in which everybody has access to sufficient and affordable nutritious food in a manner that maintains dignity and strengthens the community.
Our Community Pantry is currently feeding more than 4,000 families across southern Sydney and regional New South Wales.
