Lonsec upgrades Quay Global Real Estate Fund to ‘Recommended

Bennelong Funds Management (Bennelong) has appointed Stuart Fechner as Director, Retail Research Relationships, effective from May 2017 and reporting to Jonas Daly, Head of Wholesale Sales at Bennelong.

Richard Fish, founder of the Bennelong Long Short Equity Fund and the Bennelong Market Neutral Fund, is announcing his retirement after 15 years of exceptional service, effective on 1 July 2017.

While reporting season will set the scene for the year ahead, investors can expect a subdued local economy and share market in 2017, while the international backdrop will be more positive, according to Bennelong Funds Management boutique asset management partners. 

New Zealand advisers can now invest in nine of Bennelong Funds Management’s (Bennelong) funds.

SQM Research (SQM) has awarded a ‘Superior’ rating to the Quay Global Real Estate Fund, managed by Quay Global Investors (Quay)

SQM Research (SQM) has rated the 4D Global Infrastructure Fund (the Fund), which was launched in March 2016, as ‘Favourable’. The Fund is managed by 4D Infrastructure (4D), headed up by Sarah Shaw and Greg Goodsell, with support from two investment analysts and the backing of Bennelong.

Bennelong has expanded its business model offshore with the launch of BennBridge, an asset management incubator located in London.

Bennelong’s Sydney office has relocated to a new floor, joined by its Sydney-based boutiques - 4D Infrastructure, Avoca Investment Management, Bennelong Australian Equity Partners (BAEP), Quay Global Investors and Touchstone Asset Management. All teams are now located on level 26 of 20 Bond Street.
