Jonas is Bennelong Funds Management’s Chief of Distribution and Marketing, responsible for managing the national sales and marketing teams. Jonas develops and implements the sales strategy for both institutional and retail markets whilst also overseeing the broader marketing function. The primary objectives of the role are to drive and generate sales revenue, service key clients, and drive business growth by positioning both existing and new investment offerings for various market conditions.

Jonas has 29 years of financial services experience in banking, capital markets and funds management. Before joining Bennelong in November 2015, he worked for seven years at Colonial First State across multiple roles. Most recently he was National Manager of Alliance/Affiliate and Multi Manager businesses from a distribution perspective, and was also involved in CFSGAM and CFS Alliance Partner research and consultant relationships.

Prior to CFS, Jonas held senior business development, client and marketing roles across the industry, including at BT Funds Management, Sydney Futures Exchange and the Australian Stock Exchange.

Jonas holds a Bachelor of Business, Marketing from the University of Newcastle and a Diploma of Financial Services in Derivatives from the Australian Financial Markets Association.
