Melbourne’s famous Tan Track running circuit has received a next generation upgrade with the installation of new Bennelong Foundation Tan Track digital clocks.
The Right Honourable Lord Mayor Sally Capp AO today unveiled the monumental timing devices to coincide with the 12th annual running of the Bennelong Foundation Tan Track Challenge. Olympians Steve Moneghetti AO and Peter Bol, and Paralympian Jaryd Clifford, also joined the celebrations.
Both the original clocks, which were installed in 2012, and these new versions were designed by the City of Melbourne and gifted, with the support of Victoria Walks, to the people of Melbourne by the Bennelong Foundation - continuing our tradition of supporting social inclusion through community activity and sport.
