- How do I invest in a Bennelong fund?
- Visit the How to invest page and select the relevant fund from the dropdown menu.
- The application path will differ based on whether you’re investing with us directly, via a platform or mFund (if available).
- If investing directly, you’ll be prompted to read and understand the Product Disclosure Statement and Additional Information Booklet (and NZ Investor’s Information if you are a New Zealand investor).
- Additionally, you’ll be required to complete a short series of questions to assess your fund suitability before you can proceed to complete your application. Most of our Application Forms can be submitted online, but some need to be printed, signed and posted.

If you have already submitted an initial application / additional application, you can fund your investment in one of the following ways. Note this is not relevant for the Bennelong Market Neutral Fund and Bennelong Long Short Equity Fund.

Offer documents for each of the funds—including the Product Disclosure Statement, Additional Information Booklet, Application Form and NZ Investor’s Information—can be found on the How to invest page.
You can also access the three latest monthly reports for each fund on the Performance page. To subscribe to receive these reports via email, visit the home page and click ‘Subscribe’ at the bottom of the page.
- I don’t know which fund to invest in. Can you help?
Our Client Experience team can assist with general enquiries, but can’t make any product recommendations or determine whether a fund will meet your personal needs.
If you’re unsure, you should speak with your financial adviser. If you don’t have one, visit:
- the Financial Planning Association’s Find a planner; or
- the Association of Financial Advisers’ Find an adviser.
- Which Bennelong funds are available on mFund?
The following Bennelong funds are available via the mFund settlement service:

- Bennelong Concentrated Australian Equities Fund (BAE02);

- I live outside Australia. Can I still invest in a Bennelong fund?
We can accept applications from overseas investors as long as:
- you have an Australian domiciled AUD bank account for redemption proceeds and distribution payments (if cash election is made); and
- you receive and accept the offer to invest in the fund while in Australia or New Zealand. We cannot send the PDS outside Australia or New Zealand.
Any document that is being certified outside of Australia can be done so by:
- A person in a foreign country who is authorised by law in that jurisdiction to administer oaths or affirmations or to authenticate documents;
- An Australian Consular officer;
- A current employee of the Australian Trade Commission who is authorised in writing by the Secretary of the Department;
- A current employee of the Australian Commonwealth who is authorised in writing by the Secretary of the Department; or
- A member of the Australian defence force who is either: An officer; A non-commissioned officer with 5 or more years of continuous service; or a sailor, soldier or airman who holds the rank of warrant officer.
- What’s the status of my application? When will I receive confirmation?
Your application will be processed when the fund’s registry receives your form and funding, and you’ll receive a confirmation statement the following day. This will be emailed or posted to you, depending on the selection you made on your Application Form.
Your Application Form and investment amount must be received prior to the deadline on a Business Day (any day except a weekend or public holiday where banks are open for business in Melbourne) to receive units issued at the application price applicable as at the close of that Business Day. Refer to the fund’s Product Disclosure Statement for cut-off times.

- How can I manage my investment?
Our investor portal allows investors to manage their investments in a relevant Bennelong fund* in one place. As well as accessing account balances, transaction history and past statements, investors can top up their existing investment, make applications or withdrawals, and change some personal details. Advisers can also view their clients’ investments.

You can always access unit prices, fund performance and monthly reports any time on the relevant fund’s performance page.
*Excludes investments in the Bennelong Market Neutral Fund and Bennelong Long Short Equity Fund.

- How can I view daily and historical unit prices?
For current unit prices, visit the relevant fund’s unit price tab. You can view daily prices immediately, or download custom reports for the period of your choice.
- How can I view recent and historical fund performance?
For current performance, visit the relevant fund’s Performance page. You can view a table of the most recent performance; download a copy of the fund’s latest monthly report; or download custom performance reports for the period of your choice.
- How can I view the distribution history?
For the latest distribution history, visit the relevant fund’s Distributions page. You can view current and past distribution analysis.
How can I make a redemption/withdrawal?
To update via the Investor Portal: Refer to the instructions under ‘Can I make a withdrawal or redeem my investment on the portal?’ on our Portal FAQs page.To update by form:
- Visit the Forms and documents page and select the relevant fund from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the ‘Existing investors’ section
- Find the Withdrawal request form.
- Print and complete the Withdrawal request form, including your signature. Note, we can only accept wet signatures.
- If you are redeeming into your existing bank account, please see step 6. If you are redeeming into a new bank account, please see step 7.
- Return the form to us at client.experience@bennelongfunds.com. Note the cut-off time is 14:00 Melbourne time.

To update by form: Visit the Forms and Documents page, select the relevant fund, and scroll to the 'Account Maintenance' section. Complete the Change of details form, which you will need to scan/post to us (refer to Page 1 of the form).
If you invest via mFund, you’ll need to contact your broker who will send a message to the funds registry to make the update.For direct investors, please note that you cannot update your adviser details, username, trustees, legal name(s) or TFN details on the investor portal. You must use our Change of Details form.
- How can I update my bank details?
You can update your bank details on our investor portal or by submitting a form.
To update via the Investor Portal: Refer to the instructions under ‘Updating Details and Other Questions’ on our Portal FAQs page. As an added layer of account security, new bank accounts will be verified by our Client Experience Team using the authorised contact phone number on file.
To update by form: Visit the Forms and Documents page, select the relevant fund, and scroll to the 'Account Maintenance' section. Complete the Change of Details form, print it, sign it, and mail the original to the address provided on Page 1 of the form. As an added layer of account security, new bank accounts will be verified by our Client Experience Team using the authorised contact phone number on file.
If you invest via mFund, you’ll need to contact your broker who will send a message to the funds registry to make the update.- How is my personal information protected?
We take cyber security and your privacy very seriously, and have controls in place to protect your information and accounts. Along with our registry service providers (which by law house customer data), Citi and Apex, we maintain strict security protocols and testing. This includes our online investor portal, which can only be accessed using multi-factor authentication.
You will receive occasional emails from Citi and Apex, but if you are ever unsure or suspicious about an email or text relating to your Bennelong investments, please contact our Client Experience team immediately (details at the top of this page).
There are also a number of steps you can take to help safeguard your personal information against cyber threats. Update your devices and software promptly, be vigilant about clicking any hyperlinks, use strong passwords and (where possible) multi-factor authentication, and regularly back up your files. Can I transfer my holdings to someone else?
Units can be moved between trustees, custodians, margin lenders or investors. It is only possible to transfer between different names within the same fund. If the party to whom you are transferring units does not already hold an account in the fund, they will need to complete a new application into the fund (refer to ‘How do I invest in a Bennelong fund?’). If they are an existing investor in the fund, no new application is required.
To transfer your holdings, you need to:
- Complete an Australian Standard Transfer Form (seller must quote account number, and the transfer can only be for unit amounts);
- Complete an Application Form into the fund under the new investor name; and
- Provide us with original certified copies of your ID documents as outlined in the form.
An original signed copy of the transfer form (and Application Form if you do not complete the application online) needs to be posted to the fund’s registry provider at the address in the Application Form.
Can I switch my investment into a different fund?
Yes. To switch your investment into a different fund, you’ll need to complete a Switch form.
- Visit the Forms & documents page and select find all our relevant funds.
- Select the fund you wish to switch to.
- Review the relevant Product Disclosure Statement, Additional Investment Booklet and Target Market Determination for the new fund.
- Scroll down to the ‘Existing investors’ section.
- Find the Switch form.
- Complete the Target Market Determination section and the rest of the Switch form.
- Once completed, dated, and signed, submit the form to client.experience@bennelongfunds.com.
Note, the cut-off time is 14:00 Melbourne time.
